As we’ve said for years, Bidding for Bargains can be fun and profitable when you know how! Here’s what you do:


How to bid at South Coast Auction

Read and understand auction procedures and conditions. Then, fill out a bidding card completely, sign the condition of sale agreement and make a refundable $400 deposit (cash or credit card).

How to bid at South Coast Auction

To make a bid, signal the auctioneer with your bidding card. If you make the winning bid, clearly show the auctioneer your bidding number and acknowledge your bid amount.


How to bid at South Coast Auction

All purchases are to be paid in full by Saturday at 4:30PM. Bidders must post a minimum 25% deposit of the total purchase on the day of sale by 10:30PM.

How to bid at South Coast Auction

“Loud-out” (the loading of your purchased merchandise) is available for Gallery sale merchandise until 11:30PM night of auction. Load-out for surplus merchandise is available until 10:30PM night of auction. Gallery sale merchandise must be picked up no later than Saturday at 4:30PM following the auction. Surplus purchases must be picked up by no later than Friday at 4:30PM following the auction.




Confidential Absentee Bids Available at South Coast Auction


Note: If you’re unable to attend our Wednesday auction event, you are always welcome to place a confidential absentee bid with our staff. Please call us at 714-957-1225 for more information. Please note that all absentee bids require a refundable $400 deposit (cash or credit card) or 25% of your confidential absentee bid, whichever is greater. You may place your confidential absentee bids prior to or during our Wednesday auction events.
